Annette Webb
MBBS, FRACP, Dip Clin Hypn, MD
Dr Webb graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1993. She trained as a paediatrician and then subsequently as a paediatric gastroenterologist. She worked as a paediatric gastroenterologist at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Monash Children’s Hospital and Cabrini Medical Centre. At RCH she headed the functional bowel clinic in the Department of Gastroenterology. She has also had formal training in child and adolescent psychiatry, clinical hypnotherapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Dr Webb is the current President of the Australian Society of Hypnosis. Dr Webb has also trained in Integrative Medicine and was the Foundation Director of Paediatric Integrative Medicine at the National Institute of Integrative Medicine, Melbourne. She has also completed a fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr Webb works at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the Department of Gastroenterology where she runs a psych-gastro Gut-Focused Hypnotherapy Clinic. Dr Webb sees patients throughout whole of life from early childhood to late adulthood.
In her spare time Dr Webb likes to spend time with her family and children and family dog. She loves to play women’s cricket having been an avid cricket fan her whole life. She also barracks for the Richmond Tigers and can’t wait for them to win the grand final again.
Dr Webb is currently only taking referrals for hypnotherapy and/or psychotherapy.
ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Bronwen Laughlin
I have worked for Dr Annette Webb as an Administration Manager, for the past three years. Prior to this, I worked for a Gastroenterologist and a Hepatobiliary Surgeon.
I have worked as a Medical Secretary for over 30 years in many different areas in Victoria and also in Western Australia. I have worked with specialists as an Administrative Manager in the areas of genetics, obstetrics and gynaecology and gastroenterology. My interests include a love of dogs, diamond art, and a proud grandmother.
PEDIATRICIAN AND CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPIST
Ramesha Tiskumara
Ramesha has extensive experience in both acute and developmental paediatrics. She obtained her medical degree from Monash University in 1996 and completed paediatric specialist training at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in New South Wales. Ramesha was the Child Psychiatry Fellow at Westmead in 2006. She has looked after children with developmental and behavioural problems for almost two decades as a consultant paediatrician.
Ramesha has worked as a paediatrician in metropolitan, rural and remote Australia as well as in Africa
Ramesha also has a Master of Public Health and has completed advanced training in child and adolescent Psychiatry at Mindful, Travancore. She has had training in clinical hypnosis via the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the Milton H. Erickson Foundation (United States), The National Paediatric Hypnosis Training Institute (United Sates) and The college of Medical Hypnosis, Australia. She has awards for teaching undergraduates from the University of New South Wales and the University of Tasmania. She has been an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Ramesha will only be taking referrals for clinical hypnotherapy at the Mind Body Medicine Group practice.
SENIOR PSYCHOLOGIST, GESTALT THERAPIST & HYPNOTHERAPIST
Camille Baker
Camille Baker is a highly skilled and trained wholistic Psychologist, broadly educated in multiple approaches to provide comprehensive mental and emotional well being and support. With a deep passion for understanding the intricacies of the human mind and body, Camille has worked for over 18 years as a Psychologist employing evidence-based approaches to address a wide array of presentations helping individuals to achieve balance, healing and personal growth.
Camille has also successfully completed 4 years of Psychotherapy Training in Gestalt Therapy (Gestalt Therapy Australia). Gestalt psychotherapy is a wholistic approach that focuses on fostering self-awareness, mindfulness, personal growth and positive change. Gestalt therapy can be particularly helpful in working with adolescents with its emphasis on personal responsibility, self-regulation and identity exploration.
Camille has also completed extensive training in Clinical Hypnosis, achieving both a Certificate of Clinical Hypnotherapy and a Certificate of Advanced Clinical Training with Dr. Alan Fahey at the College of Medical Hypnosis, and has also completed postgraduate Training in Clinical Hypnosis, and is a Member of the Australian Society of Hypnosis. Camille successfully uses Hypnotherapy as a therapeutic technique to address stress reduction, anxiety, phobias, pain conditions, functional gut disorders, sleep, performance enhancement and self esteem.
Camille has a special interest in working with Teenagers of secondary school age. She believes providing a safe environment and skilled support during these crucial developmental years can have profound benefits for their future well-being. She has worked as a Psychologist with Adolescents over the last 15 years across various settings, including as a School Psychologist and in Private Practice.
Camille is also a trained facilitator of Tuning into Teens. This is a parenting program aimed at supporting parents to develop an emotion coaching parenting style aimed at supporting the teenager to develop Emotional Intelligence.
Camille’s approach is wholistic and client focussed, emphasising collaboration and safety to find the best intervention to work with each individual client. Her areas of practice include working with adults and adolescents to address Anxiety, Depression, Physical illness, Grief and Loss, Life Transitions and Adjustment, Self-harm, Drug and Alcohol use, Relationship issues, Parenting and Self-esteem.
During her spare time, Camille loves spending time with her family and friends, walking her dog along the beach, Yoga and dancing.
Camille is a registered Medicare provider. You can choose to claim rebates for your sessions with a Mental health Care Plan from your GP or check with your Private Health Fund to see if Psychology is covered in your plan.
